Dear Mr. Smiths,
An unhappy affair happened last Saturday in my room when I was on my holiday on the beach. Some neighboring boys were playing fireworks and one threw one firework into my broken window which caused the small fire. Fortunately my neighbor Tom found it immediately. He opened the door and put down the fire. The properties that I have lost are as follows:
(1) My bedcovering, a sweater and an overcoat.
(2) My textbooks of Education next semester.
Although they are partly spoiled, I have to change new ones. To avoid such things once more, I put forward some recommendations to you.
(1) Advise the boys not play fireworks nearby. As in some other countries, it is not allowed to play fireworks in city areas.
(2) Repair my broken windows immediately please.
(3) Check the windows and the doors of other rooms. The fire will spread if it happens somewhere else.
