The Tang Dynasty (618 -907) is the most splendid period in Chinese history. After about 300 years of development, China, in its Tang Dynasty, was the most prosperous world power whose capital, Chang\'an，was the largest megacity throughout the world. During this period, the nation enjoyed flourishing economy, booming commerce, stabilized social order and even open borders. In pace with urbanization and the increase of wealth, art and literature are thriving. Poets such as Li Bai and Du Fu are renowned for their succinct works that read naturally. Their verses have impressed both the learned and the ordinary so much that even up until today, many of them are still being widely chanted and recited by children and adults.
